Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist with managing the loan administration process, assessing operational risks, and coordinating tactical execution and day-to-day operations for managing loans and mortgage-backed security (MBS) pool transactions, as well as monitor customer (lenders, services, and internal partners) performance.

The Operations - Operations Management - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day operations for managing loans and MBS pool transactions.
• Adhere to firm guidelines and controls to mitigate operational and financial risk.
• Participate in loan management activities that support business unit goals.
• Prepare resources to support loan management workflow.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Desired Experience

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Excellent customer service experience, including direct engagement with internal and external customers
• Must have Microsoft Office experience including an extended understanding of MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
• Analytical experience where you can discuss specific times where you individually reviewed, extracted and manipulated available data leading to identifying gaps and/or variables enabling the team to make improvements
• Has experience reviewing and understanding mortgage documents
• Works independently as well as being an excellent team member
• An individual who demonstrates proactivity and initiative
