The Fannie Mae Controllers Associate Program is a compelling opportunity for recent college graduates to work on the Controllers team within our Finance Division. The team is responsible for all aspects of accounting operations, including the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of Fannie Mae’s loans, mortgage-backed securities, and single-family real estate owned properties, as well as funding and risk management instruments. Here, you will thrive while working on challenging and impactful accounting assignments. During the program, you will gain a breadth of experience and skills, and build a wide network of peers, managers, and officers.

These are talented professionals like yourself – accountants, as well as financial and economic modelers and analysts who perform related financial functions such as pricing valuations, credit reserves, and forecasts of home prices. The work is complex, interesting, and will stretch your knowledge of how a robust accounting system handles an immense number of transactions throughout the life of a mortgage loan.
