    Job Description

    As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise the team on monitoring financial markets and initiating trades or transactions to capitalize on recognized patterns or according to a strategy. You will collaborate with management to develop strategies for analyzing financial market data and determining trends or patterns, evaluate risk on trades or transactions based on the analysis of financial market data, effectively transfer a portion of credit risk to private capital, and consult on pricing according to the associated risk of the asset. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Capital Markets - Market Transactions - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial dealers or other market makers.
    • Develop and build strong relationships with internal and external customers through active engagement and inspiring work.
    • Provide guidance to the team on recognizing patterns or strategy to initiate trades/transactions.
    • Track financial market activities, as well as evaluate and provide feedback on new developments in the market and potential impact on business/position.

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

     

    Minimum Required Experiences

    • 6 years related experience.
    • Experience (requiring minimal training) in: 
      • Mortgage Banking / Secondary Marketing / Fixed Income Transactions or Portfolio Management
        • Strong comprehension of mortgage banker pipeline management, including pricing/best execution, MBS trading/transacting, pooling, and delivery.
        • Relationship management, analysis and valuation, interpreting customer and market insights, designing models, forecasting and benchmarking to deliver business insights on fixed income products
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to provide updates, both written and verbal, to and for senior leadership.
    • Ability to influence others using negotiation, persuasion, meeting facilitation, and conflict resolution.
    • Strong analytical skills - ability to collect and analyze large data sets.
    • Attention to detail and critical thinking for problem solving.
    • Intermediate skills with Excel and Tableau, or similar.

    Desired Experiences

    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background (requiring minimal training) in:
      • Analytical Skills
        • Experienced at sourcing and interpreting data utilizing Excel, Tableau, SQL, R, and data modeling tools
        • Skilled in the representation of information/data in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
