    Job Description

    As a valued colleague on our team, you will support the team in MBS Trading Operations, as well as providing operational services for internal and external customers inclusive of but not limited to: Trade Confirmation, Trade Clearing, TBA Allocations, and Trade Assignments.

    THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

    The Operations - Collateral Management - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    • Confirm MBS Trade terms with counterparties to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
    • Perform MBS Trade Entry in support of Trade Assignment functions.
    • Allocate MBS Pools into TBA Contracts and manage TBA and MBS Pool positions in the Operations trading portfolio.
    • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.

    MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCES

    • 0-2 years of related experience
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Good understanding of how to prioritize work and meet deadlines
    • Well versed in Microsoft Suite

    DESIRED EXPERIENCES

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Background in fixed income trading operations, trade confirmations and/or trade settlements a plus
    • Ability to effectively collaborate in a virtual team environment
    • Ability to perform daily production responsibilities related to MBS trade processing
    • Ability to represent the team on basic to moderate complexity projects and initiatives
    • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions that improve processes, reduce risk and/or improve the customer experience

    SKILLS

    • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
    • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
    • Risk Assessment and Management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
    • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
    • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
    • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
    • Governance and Compliance skills including creating policies and evaluating compliance
    • Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
    • Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
    • Operational Excellence skills including improving and overseeing operations

    TOOLS

    • Skilled in Microsoft Suite
    • Skilled in Tableau
    • Skilled in Excel

Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
