    • Assist Fannie Mae in developing its technology strategy and building trust with partners and stakeholders. 

    • Develop and implement best practices within the application architecture, data management, data architecture and organization strategies to support internal and external customers. 

    • Develop technical capabilities and architectural patterns to support both real-time and batch-based applications and consumer data needs. 

    • Establish architecture guidelines, controls and processes to make applications safe, sound, efficient and flexible to enhance business performance and solve business challenges. 

    • Lead discussions and early analysis of legacy applications to identify the necessary technical capabilities and patterns to enable the applications. 

    • Prepare and deliver architecture guidance to highlight value proposition and unique differentiators to influence stakeholders. 

    • Stay educated on new and emerging technologies/patterns/methodologies and market offerings that may be relevant to Fannie Mae. 

    • Lead architectural reviews to ensure solution addresses customer pain points, business, and technical requirements, and alignment to standards and best practices.

      

    SKILLS The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc. Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority. 

    • Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork. 

    • Experience working with and creating application and data architectures for customer facing, real-time and batch-based applications and analytics solutions. 

    • Understanding of distributed data management principles, data streaming and data mesh strategies. 

    • Experience in defining cyber resiliency and data loss prevention strategies. 

    • Experience with application & data security (including PCI, PII data), as well as data privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR) 

    • Experience in developing strategy and architecture patterns to support data engineering and data science community. 

    • Working experience in hybrid data eco system comprising of on-prem legacy applications and modern microservices and event driven applications in cloud environment.

     

    TOOLS Skilled in AWS Compute such as EC2, Lambda, Beanstalk, or ECS Experience using JIRA Skilled in Docker Skilled in AWS Application Integration Skilled in Java Skilled in AWS Management and Governance suite of products such as CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or Systems Manager Skilled in Alteryx for data analytics applications Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms Experience using APIs for developing or programming software Skilled in R Language Programming Skilled in Visio Skilled in AWS Analytics such as Athena, EMR, or Glue Skilled in Python object-oriented programming Skilled in Oracle PL SQL Skilled in Kubernetes to automate application deployment, scaling, and management Skilled in AWS tools such as Amazon API Gateway, Amazon VPC, or Amazon CloudFront Skilled in AWS Storage products such as S3 Skilled in Excel

     

    Desired Experiences 

    • 5+ years’ experience in stakeholder and vendor management. 

    • AWS certified Solution Architect - Professional 

    • AWS certified Data Analytics – Specialty 

    • AWS certified Database – Specialty 

    • AWS certified Machine Learning – Specialty 

    • Minimum of 5 years technical solutions implementation, architecture design, evaluation, and innovation in a cloud environment (specifically AWS), Hybrid, and/or On-Prem. 

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Solution/Technical Architecture in the cloud. 

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Big Data and Analytics in the Cloud. 

    • Experience working with streaming platforms such as Kinesis or Kafka 

    • Experience working with Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or Fargate  

    • Financial services industry experience 

    • Hands on experience with Python, PySpark and Machine Learning tools & technologies 

    • Integration with Salesforce platform is a plus
