    • Develop reports to document assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and/or other financial activities and results.  
    • Gather, document, and maintain financial information from relevant finance and accounting sources.  
    • Perform deep analytics and reporting on business and financial information to provide insights to stakeholders, make projections of prospective financial performance and determine appropriate treatment. 
    • Interact, collaborate, and problem solve directly with finance and key business partners, including finance, accounting, and legal teams, as well as internal and external auditors.  
    • Own portions of the monthly financial close process, such as ensuring subledger systems appropriately record transactions into the general ledger

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent  
    • 1+ years of related experience required 
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel required

        

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Area of study in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics   
    • Certified as a public accountant (CPA) or functional equivalent  
    • Public accounting, consulting and/or financial services experience
    • Previous operational accounting experience in a large company setting  
    • Demonstrated ability to work with and challenge business contacts to interpret issues and properly apply finance and accounting principles in operational processes, systems, and reporting 
    • Experience implementing new SEC and/or FASB accounting standards, including GAAP principles
    • Strong understanding of the monthly close process 
    • Ability to resolve issues and exceptions in a timely and professional manner  
    • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with employees at all levels, including senior management  
    • Experience with robust reporting tools such as Tableau and Business Objects to visualize and analyze data
