POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Software Quality Analyst Intern will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of software applications by performing functional and regression testing using established testing tools and approaches. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Define test criteria and goals based on business requirements * Develop test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure application functions to documented business requirements * Develop, maintain, and execute test cases * May assist in creating use cases and participate in QA process improvement _EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: _ * Knowledge of Software Testing principles plus prior experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint and SQL preferred * Ability to coordinate work with assigned project leads * Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills * Preferred majors are Computer Science (Engineering), Information Systems or Management Information Systems (Business), or equivalent * Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.; flexibility/additional hours may be required _ _ NOTES: This is a 10 - 12 week internship from June to August 2019 located in the Dallas office. Interns will be expected to work 40 hours per week for the entire internship period. Interns will be responsible for any relocation and housing expenses. Employment is contingent upon the selected candidate passing a background check and drug screen. Candidates will be required to submit at least three references and submit fingerprints prior to employment.
