    Intern - El Paso Communications & Outreach Job Summary: The El

    Paso Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a self- directed intern with an interest in gaining hands-on experience in Communications and Outreach related projects. The intern will work with the Communications and Outreach team to develop and shape a variety of communication materials, identify economic challenges and opportunities, and help promote community leadership. The intern will assist with creating internal and external communications and other written or visual materials (e.g. PowerPoint slides) on assigned topics. Job Responsibilities/Duties: * Assist in the creation of presentations and communication toolkits. * Prepare routine business correspondences and reports. * Maintains records and distribute documents. * Manage department inventory. * Make phone calls and interact with bank constituents. * Arrange meetings and/or luncheons. * Support department management with other projects as assigned in support of the district C&O strategic objectives. Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent planning and organizational skills. * Ability to prioritize and pay high attention to detail. * Ability to interact in a professional manner with internal and external personnel. * Ability to work in a collaborative team setting. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows. * Ability to conduct internet research. * Social Media Savvy. Preferred Education and Experience Requirements: * Working toward an undergraduate or masters degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or graphic design. * Coursework or experience in public relations, communications, or strategic planning. * Bilingual preferred Work Hours and Conditions: Maximum of 40 Hours per week during business hours, Monday Friday. A work schedule will be established based on interns availability and will be used as a planning tool for assigned projects during the semester.
