Technology Support Intern (Summer 2019) The Operations and Staff Development Division of Supervision, Regulation and Credit Intern will work on an embedded team providing Information Technology support and ensuring information security and policy adherence for more than 300 employees across the Richmond District. During the program, the intern will gain exposure to Information Technology support activities for the department. This will include developing computer applications, installing software, deploying computer hardware and resolving various IT issues. In addition, the intern will develop a relationship with a mentor. Qualifications/Experience: * Candidate must be an undergraduate college student with a minimum 3.0 GPA with a preferred emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Artificial Intelligence or related field. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Ability to assess when to ask for help versus when to complete assignments with limited assistance. * Knowledge acquired from training opportunities and prior assignments to complete entry level assignments. * Strong written and oral communication skills. * Strong customer focus with both internal and external customers. * Strong organizational skills, as evidenced by a demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. * Strong team orientation, as evidenced by successful small group collaboration in an academic, athletic or work environment.
