    Law Enforcement Unit Intern (Summer 2019) Law Enforcement Unit Law Enforcement Unit Intern (Summer 2019) The Law Enforcement Unit (LEU) has an immediate opening for a summer intern. The position provides summer interns with the opportunity to enhance essential business skills and increase understanding of the Federal Reserve. During the program, interns will work on a team to provide support to the LEUs operations in Richmond, VA; Baltimore, MD; and, Charlotte, NC. Assignments may require day-trip and/or overnight travel. Interns will assist in many areas of the LEU, including assisting with finance activities; evaluating reports, and providing support to management. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ? Researching and responding to information requests. ? Providing business and financial analysis and presentations, as needed. ? Providing support to the LEU Access Control office. ? Maintaining supply inventory, handling department expense vouchers; monitoring and reconciling statements and invoices. ? Providing administrative support, including preparing daily attendance and overtime reports, assisting with travel arrangements, processing expense reimbursements, and managing the department email inbox. Sponsorship is not available for this position. ***The hiring range is $18.50/hr. *** Please note that housing will not be provided ***Candidates subject to special background check procedures This is a part time position (no benefits) that will begin in May 2019 and will end in early August 2019. The work schedule for the position will average 35 - 40 hours per week. Requirements/Technical Competencies/Education ? Currently an undergrad, recent graduate or graduate student in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field (required) ? Currently possess a minimum 3.0 grade point average (required) ? Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze, interpret and discuss low to moderately complex issues ? Customer oriented along with the ability to work well in a team setting ? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple smaller projects with upmost customer service ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Strong organization and interpersonal skills ?
