    Audit Solutions & Innovation Intern (Summer 2019) The Audit Department has an opening for an Audit Intern for a rising undergraduate junior or senior. The summer intern will have the opportunity to enhance essential data analytics skills and increase understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve Bank. The intern will assist the Audit Solutions and Innovation (ASI) team with solution development, audit support, department reporting and data management activities. Essential Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Develop, enhance, or maintain technology solutions to support the processing, storage, and analysis of data to improve audit testing or continuous assurance activities. * Obtain, clean, format, and help analyze data for auditors in order to reduce the time spent on audit objectives and increase the amount of data reviewed. * Handle ad-hoc information requests from Audit management. * Responsibly handle highly sensitive and confidential information in accordance with Bank policies. * Support periodic Audit Management reporting and data analytics of internal Audit data. * Test reports and automated solutions to ensure the accuracy of information reported. * Test the efficiency of data processes and automated solutions implemented. * Interact with customers to define business requirements or clarify requests. * Assist ASI management data management activities. * Perform additional duties as assigned. The work schedule for the position will average 35 - 40 hours per week; however, flexibility to alter work schedule as needed, is required. Qualifications/Experience: * Minimum 3.0 overall GPA (required). * Must be a rising college junior or senior with an emphasis in Data Analytics/Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or related course of study. * Demonstrated ability to assess when to ask for help versus when to complete assignments with limited assistance. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Customer oriented along with the ability to work well in a team setting. * Organizational skills evidenced by a demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. * Knowledge or experience with several of the following: * Microsoft Excel. * Microsoft SQL Server or other database management system. * Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, or other data visualization software. * Alteryx, Datawatch Monarch, or other data preparation software. * Programming experience (specific experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a plus). * Microsoft SharePoint. * Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software.
