This intern will have the opportunity to enhance essential business skills and increase understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve Bank. Under direct supervision, the intern will work with an IT Application Development team that provides analysis, .net programming, project management, and testing support for multiple Application Development projects supporting multiple business areas. _ _ Candidate should review the FRB Employee Code of Conduct to ensure compliance with issues related to previous employment and prohibited financial interests. The work schedule for the position will average 30 - 40 hours per week. Description · Work with all lines of business to identify and capture the Information Architecture for critical Bank processes and services. · Conduct stakeholder interviews and do research on current Bank critical processes and services to determine requirements and inform interface design. · Creating visual designs and information taxonomies by interviewing employees, assessing current processes and creating a concept model.__ · Help craft a design strategy that will create an immediate impact for your business/organization. __ · Leverage the information captured and contacts made throughout this process to establish data literacy program by developing materials and tools to educate data users on the ability to consume for knowledge, produce coherently and think critically about data.__ _ _ Education/Technical Competencies/Requirements * Must have a 3.0+ overall GPA * Must be a rising college junior or senior with a preferred emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field * Ability to analyze business processes, generate insights, and make recommendations based off those insights. * Experience in business process improvement and knowledge of business intelligence tool-sets * Experience developing or working with architectural concepts, strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, architectural patterns, frameworks and principles * Organizational, communication and presentation skills required. **Primary Location: **VA-Richmond **Work Locations: ** **Organization: **Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond **Schedule: **Part-time **Job Type: **Internship **Shift: **Day Job **Travel: **No
