This is a hands-on learning experience with opportunities to work on a team design project and gain exposure to the day-to-day business of the User Experience Design group. You will have the opportunity to apply your background to compelling, real world design challenges. The Expertise Were Looking For Undergraduate or graduate students with Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design and Human Factors majors or similar majors preferred. Rising juniors and seniors, or enrolled graduate students. During your 10 week internship, you will have the opportunity to learn the full UXD process by practicing and experiencing all levels of various skills including design fusions, usability testing and prototyping. In addition, you will participate in Design Thinking workshops and contribute to a final group project featuring your teams design concept and solution. The presentation will have been the basis for actual future products. Your skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), Sketch and image creation is a plus You are familiar with HTML and CSS and with the basics in HTML5 You have a desire to create and execute persuasive and innovative design solutions Your ability to collaborate and iterate in a fast-paced design- build cycles The Value You Deliver You will be responsible for designing Fidelity Investments' award-winning websites, mobile and desktop applications and digital products.
