    HR Talent Acqusition Coordinator Location US-IL-Chicago Job ID 2018-1805 Overview The HR Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of the day to day operations of the Talent Acquisition department. The HR Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be hands on with scheduling interviews and transactional candidate communications, job advertisements and social media recruitment branding, sourcing, ATS system navigation and reporting, and other adhoc support opportunities as they arise within the overall Human Resources department. Responsibilities Partner with the other members of the Talent Acquisition team on the scheduling of interviews and phone screens, in-person interviews, completing reference and background checks on selected candidates. Responsible for making sure all new hire paperwork is received and prepared for employment file and provides all follow up with the new hires Creates and updates job descriptions in the applicant tracking system (iCIMS) Administer and oversee the timely completion of new candidate paperwork Update and assist with the build out of new hire reporting; ensure Talent Acquisition Share Drive is up to date with current template(s) and all significant files Assist in the logistics of planning and executing hiring events Coordinates New Hire Orientations, reserves conference rooms and prepares necessary materials and assists with facilitation. Encouraged to use Microsoft teams and virtual tools for communication across locations Opportunity to be a thought partner and oversee redesign of New Hire Orientation practice and partner with HRBPs to modernize and make more user friendly Responds to employee concerns and questions by referring the employee to the appropriate resource including the employee manual for policies Ability to discreetly handle highly sensitive and confidential matters Support all outreach for advertising open positions and be advocate for leveraging social media Develop and support effort to advance local campus recruiting and support design of an annual intern program Oversee all bill payments and processing for the HR Function Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Resources is preferred with 3-5 years of relative talent acquisition or Human Resources support experience Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills High level of integrity; sensitive to confidential information Enthusiastic; genuine interest in the HR function and hungry to learn Proactive and outside the box thinker Independent and organized work style High learning agility Strong technical & analytical skills/aptitude: Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word and Excel). Experience with HRIS systems preferred (ADP, etc.). Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and employee information Team player and creative thinkers highly desired!
