JOB SUMMARY
The WEX Americas FP&A Team is seeking a FINANCIAL ANALYST INTERN for the Summer of 2023. This role is based in PORTLAND, MAINE , with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE:
Supporting the Americas FP&A team in Line of Business budget and variance analysis.
Developing dashboards for lines of business
Develop common templates for SG&A reporting for key Departments across America’s
Align with multiple FP&A teams across Americas to ensure critical KPIs are updated and tracked
Work across Corp FP&A, Tech FP&A and America's FP&A to ensure dashboard and departmental reports are aligned, prepared and issued in a timely manner
Actively lead demo sessions on benefits and how to use new templates and dashboards in meetings with FP&A and business teams
Look for and suggest opportunities for improving current process
Learn how large a corporate business operates across multiple geographies, lines of business and priorities
Gain insight into the FP&A reporting and decision making process

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
At a minimum, you should be a rising junior, senior, OR masters-level student, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program
Independent and self driven
Strong project management skills, including planning and execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
Intermediate understanding of Excel
Experience working with data
Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau preferred
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Salary Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.50
