    Job Description

    Financial Center Credit Union of Stockton, CA is seeking to hire a full-time Recruiter to play a critical part in bringing the right kind of talent to FCCU.     WHAT YOU'LL DO

    The Recruiter is responsible for professional and strategic talent management duties in the area of recruitment. Working closely with the VP of HR to carry out our recruiting strategy, facilitate implementation and assess outcomes. You will identify recruiting needs and drive suitable initiatives to support our mission.

    • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
    • Evaluate hiring strategies for emphasis on time-to-fill and quality of hire.
    • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the position to fill, industry standards and the needs of the credit union.
    • Market credit union culture through relationship building and networking with community partners.
    • Screen applicants for cultural fit, service approach and skills.
    • Conduct pre-interview assessments and select qualified candidates for interviews.
    • Prepare interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Schedule and conduct interviews with credit union stakeholders. Notify candidates of hiring selection.
    • Collaborate with the VP of Human Resources during the offer process, identifying and recommending candidate offer details.
    • Administer and maintain pre-interview assessment and applicant tracking systems. Complete background checks, to include prior/current employer references, educational references/verification, criminal history verification and bond status. Evaluate and act on information received from background checks.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and credit union policies.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience: 2+ years of similar or related experience in recruiting, strong understanding of recruiting practices and processes

    • Education: 4 year degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience

    • Motivated: self-starter, ability to quickly organize materials, prioritize and coordinate tasks

    • Proactive: able to take initiative and follow through to completion

    • Trustworthy: able to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity

    • Problem solver and owner: given a difficult situation, can "own" it entirely - drive it to successful completion and report success

    • Goal Orientated: desire to strive for and meet defined performance goals; demonstrated ability to achieve individual and team goals

    • Emotional IQ: able to listen and understand people

    LOCATION

    FCCU has branches in Stockton, Lodi, and Manteca. Primary placement in Lodi, travel to community events is necessary; reliable transportation and flexibility required.
