Summary of Role: Based in New York and working as part of a busy event marketing team, we are seeking to recruit a motivated and dedicated individual as a Marketing Intern. Reporting to FT Lives Marketing Manager, US, this will be a varied role working closely with key stakeholders across the team. This role is a 60/40 split between marketing tasks and handling inbound Customer Services inquiries. We would expect this person to start August 2018. Key Skills: * Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems would be a bonus * Strong organization and time-management skills * Strong analytical skills and the proven ability to pay close attention to detail - Proven experience of providing administrative support - Excellent record keeping skills, both electronically and for hard copies * A high degree of accuracy in work practices and ability to cope well under pressure * Good telephone manner and customer service skills * A flexible, adaptable and organized approach to work, exercising initiative and working independently as appropriate * The ability to create, manage and maintain databases and write reports. * A relevant Degree would be beneficial * An additional language would be an advantage but not essential.
