PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

The Mortgage Professional will solicit, structure, originating, and close real estate loans and develop mutually beneficial relationships with our customers, shareholders, and employees in order to meet established production goals. Promote the bank and become a resource of financial knowledge in the local community through active involvement in community affairs. Participate in marketing and actively cross sell all bank products and services.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
2. Two years of banking experience in mortgage lending or a related field
3. Ability to learn and retain complex information with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
4. Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills applicable to a business environment
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to meet deadlines while working independently
7. Strong sales and customer service skills
8. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
