Internship Roles Overview: Both Fitch Solutions Product and Sales Teams are looking for Summer Interns to perform the following roles: Product Team: Assist the Product Specialist team with delivering exceptional client service through: -Managing complex queries escalated to the Specialist team -Creating custom Excel templates -Query analysis to identify trends and actions to improve service -Writing team collateral as required Learn a day in the life of a Product Manager by: -Learning how to work in an agile development process alongside software engineers to build products -Creating materials and presenting to internal stakeholders for a product Go To Market launch -Participate in product validation for new product initiatives Sales Team: Assist the Strategic Partnerships Group with Prospecting Prospecting: -Stage 1: create a prospect list & new logo profile: -Identify: new logos for the SPG team to reach out -Contacts: collect the relevant people we should be speaking with -Profile: collect all the services that the prospect provide (we could draft a form that the intern could fill out) -Stage 2: prepare an outreach: -Email drafts: intern creates a personalized/customize emails draft that is then reviewed but a team member, then one of the team member send along this email to the contact via email or linked in message -Conference call agenda: Internal drafts an agenda for the meeting, it is reviewed and adjusted, then we allow the intern to listen to our calls -Stage 3: Next steps/documenting the interaction -Action items from call: internal creates the follow up email by drafting the reply, collect the requested documentation, and maybe the email is sent by the internal over time. -Pipeline management: we have the intern be responsibility for various parts of the pipeline and expose them to how a manager review this as a whole Or assist the Americas Sales Team with the following: -Create renewal and credit rating spreadsheets for all of the history of client subscriptions which include company information, pricing details, contract intricacies, and type of subscription -Design monthly and annual analyses of senior and junior account managers accounts by calculating and forecasting the upcoming years list price for clients and analyzing usage trends, discounts, revenue trends, gap analysis -Update and track migration America accounts to on GWS Salesforce opportunities -Extract and input rating data and price information about clients into a cloud computing platform called Salesforce -Analyze and reconcile the Americas Sales Team quarterly performances by working closely with the Sales Operations Team in London Requirements: -3.4 or higher GPA -Rising junior or senior (2019 or 2020 Grads) -Strong communication and inter-personal skills -Strong work ethic and quick learner -Strong technical skills- Excel, PowerPoint etc -Preferred Majors- Business, Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering or English/Literature Fitch is committed to providing global securities markets with objective, timely, independent and forward-looking credit opinions.
