Position DescriptionPosition DescriptionThe Default Reporting Analyst will be responsible for providing support to the Freedom Servicing group. Management of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, and Private Mortgage Insurance Companies through various methods of communication. The Default Reporting Specialist will be responsible for managing changes to investor/insurer reporting guidelines. Review all exceptions and partner with default business units to clear exceptions and ensure accurate reporting. The Default Reporting Analyst will also drive process improvement to eliminate manual intervention and extensive loan level reviews.Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for managing timely and accurate reporting for accounts that are in default to the various investors and insurers.Responsible for working with other default areas to ensure a smooth process, accuracy of information reported to the various investors and insurers. Responsible for ensuring compliance with directives, both verbal and electronic, from regulatory agencies, CFPB, GSE’s, investors and insurers for Default Services functional work groups.Establish and foster a work culture at all levels within the operation which is positive, collaborative, respectful, optimistic, and capable of driving long term operational sustainability.Serve as primary point of contact to internal and external parties for escalations related to one or more business functions in pre/post foreclosure areas to minimize reputational impact to Freedom Mortgage and ensure optimal resolution for business unit.Work with management to develop and implement new or revised processes and guidelines and realize process efficiencies and potential gaps created within Default Reporting department.Responsible for reviewing and clearing exception reports from the investors/insurers as assignedExperience Or EducationThree years Mortgage Servicing experience in the Default arenaStrong skills in Excel (VLOOKUP’s & Excel formulas)Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independentlyExcellent critical thinking & problem solvingFast learner, able to embrace new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment#CBFounded in Mount Laurel, NJ in 1990, Freedom Mortgage has since grown into one of the largest and fastest-growing privately owned full-service residential lenders in the USA.
