THE POSITION: This entry level Human Resources Coordinator role is responsible for partner with the recruiting team, onboarding tasks and various record keeping, reporting and employee engagement activities. Pay Type: Hourly Employment Type: Full Time Work Location: Fairburn, GA The Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required Bachelors degree with a emphasis in Human Resources preferred. Experience Level: 1+ years of human resources experience preferred. Proficiency in all MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) Working knowledge of laws affecting employment (e.g. FMLA, ADA, AAP, OSHA, DOT, HIPAA) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Talent Acquisition: Request TALEO Job Postings, Work with FreshPoint Recruiters to post , Work with FreshPoint Recruiters to attend Job Fairs , Schedule Driver Information Sessions, Scheduling In-person interviews , Create offer Letters for hourly associates Onboarding: Applicant pre-screening (scheduling drug test, and abilities test), Background checks (entering information into Compufact), Scheduling new hire orientation, Guardian and E-Verify (I-9s), Assign SIU Trainings for new hires, Participating in New Hire Orientation Positive Associate Relations (PAR): Enter the 30,60,90, 180 days check-ins on managers calendars for Positive Associate Relations (PAR) , Track all check ins , Post results of associate engagement team Reporting and Record keeping: Prepare reports as requested, Prepare new hire file, Personnel File Management, HRIS System Management, Off Site File Storage Management, Maintain all DQFs (driver qualification files) through iCertainty as required by Sysco and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
