This will be a rotational internship, spending time on the Fund Finance and Fund Origination Teams.

About Fund Finance and Origination at iCapital:

The Fund Finance and Origination departments includes multiple teams dedicated to managing all operational review and fund administration for the iCapital funds platform.

As part of the Fund Finance and Fund Origination internship, some areas of responsibility may include:

Fund Origination team:

• Support various in-flight projects for diverse iCapital services including Special Product Vehicles (SPVs) build outs, Single Managed Accounts (SMAs), and new registered funds.
• Facilitate feeder fund launches, SPVs, SMAs, registered fund technology, due diligence, and investment management services by helping to develop presentation materials for the team.
• Develop a matrix of product specifications across feeder funds and technology offerings.
• Coordinate fund launches with distributors and platforms by managing diligence inquiries and onboarding requests.
• Document team processes and researching with partners across iCapital to identify areas of improvement and develop actionable adjustments to workflows.

Fund Finance team:

• Assist in calculating management fees and trail fees.
• Administrator invoice classifications and accruals.
• Assist in subscriptions and redemption reconciliation.
• Assist in creating documented procedures for day-to-day operations.
• Utilize workflow tool for monthly and quarterly deliverables.
• Reconcile the monthly NAV flow process.
• Assist with ad hoc projects.
• Assist with data synthesis on the iCapital Platform.

The ideal candidate

• Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
• Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
• Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor's degree program
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States*

Pay Rate: $35.00/hour + relocation stipend and transportation stipend
