  • Responsibilities

    In partnership with Citi’s Global Functions Technology organization, the Citi® University Partnerships in Innovation & Discovery (CUPID) Program is seeking high potential graduates to join Citi for a best-in-class leadership and development program!

    The program will run from Wednesday, June 2nd through Wednesday, July 7th. This experience will equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career here. At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when.

    Selected graduates will join a 5-week paid program and work on interesting projects focused on technology and finance, supporting our Global Functions Technology team. Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to network with Citi colleagues, hear from senior leaders, receive mentorship, and attend career preparation workshops and professional trainings. Projects are assigned based on participants’ skills and interests, as well as business needs.

    Program participants will be eligible for a full-time job offer from Citi within the Global Functions Technology team.

    Note: Roles for the Global Functions Team are located in New York, New Jersey, Dallas/Irving, and Tampa/Jacksonville. After Citi deems it safe and appropriate to return to the office, all participants who accept an offer are expected to relocate (if applicable) to the location that their offer was contingent upon. No relocation assistance will be offered.

  • Qualifications

    We want to hear from you if you meet one or more of the below criteria:

    • Currently pursuing or recently obtained an undergraduate degree with a concentration in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other analytical or technical-related programs (graduating in December 2020 through June 2021)
      • Open to strong candidates who have pursued different undergraduate degrees
    • Interest in working in a high tech global technology environment
    • Fundamental understanding of technologies, including but not limited to programming languages (C++, Java, etc),
    • Programming proficiency with Java, C++ or Python
    • Experience in multithreading and multiprocessing using Java/Python
    • Exposure to Angular/ReactJS & Redux, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • Experience in DevOps process and tools like Jenkins and build technology like Maven/Gradle
    • Experience with git and versioning systems (e.g. Github, Bitbucket, Subversion, Perforce, etc)
    • Ability to create queries using SQL (SAS is preferred)
    • Experience in contract management or vendor management
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Business Analysis
    • You are a U.S. Citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted US work authorization will not require sponsorship for US work authorization now or anytime in the future
