    We are looking for a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER who will—with a strong focus on providing outstanding service—help us grow our employer brand in our new, NAPA CORPORATE CAMPUS!

    Exercising considerable independent judgment, this position is responsible for all human resources program areas, specifically employee relations, compensation and benefits, HRIS technology, risk management, compliance, safety & security, leave administration, talent management, leadership development, and employee wellness.

    AS THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, YOU WILL HAVE:

    • Vast experience in all aspects of employee relations (depth and breadth)
    • Practiced and broad experience in other areas of human resources and organizational design
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • High emotional intelligence and strong leadership instinct
    • Naturally a critical thinker and analyzer
    • Experienced working in large, layered, and complex organizations
    • A strong-service orientation and want to help others; purpose driven!

    • Thorough knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of human resources management.
    • Extensive knowledge of California, municipal, and federal labor laws, rules and regulations.
    • Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, deadline-oriented environment that requires excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to drive multiple projects and processes forward in a positive and effective manner.
    • Ability to work and act independently with significant discretion and tact.
    • Ability to influence, motivate, and develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Practiced in managing a distributed workforce.

    Required Experience

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

    • Professional certification in Human Resources or Organizational Development PREFERRED (*SHRM, *HRCI, ISPI, ATD).
    • Must maintain a valid California driver’s license.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • A combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or closely related field.
    • 7-10 years progressively responsible experience in human resource management, including three years supervisory experience.
