  • Responsibilities

    We are currently hiring a Vice President, Card Services, based out of our offices in New Berlin. This position reports to the Chief Lending Officer and is responsible for leading, developing and optimizing the card product portfolio, as well as overseeing servicing and dispute management. Develops a strategy for product development and growth while ensuring compliance and regulations are adhered to. Aligns performance goals with business objectives and oversees the development of team members.

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    1. Sets the strategy for the card department to ensure maximum volume, proper margin, and appropriate delinquency ratio. Continually analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of products and services.
    2. Ensures card lending operations are in accordance with established policies, procedures and legal requirements.
    3. Manages 3rd party relationships such as the servicing system provider and the related risks associated with the vendor. Continually assesses service levels and ensures our systems are being used in the most effective way for our members and colleagues.
    4. Consistently monitors member card experience to ensure service optimization and member satisfaction.
    5. Partners cross-functionally in order to provide and deliver innovative strategies across digital and remote channels to grow the success of card services.
    6. Manages varying levels of staff through the development of skills, performance management and coaching.
    7. Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Required Skills

    1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience managing lending products including credit cards, debit cards and ATM services.
    2. 5+ years of experience managing teams in the development of skills, performance management and coaching.
    3. Proven accomplishment in growing and optimizing card products.
    4. Experience leading process improvement efforts resulting in efficiencies and productivity gains.
    5. Proven ability to independently organize work, balance multiple priorities and manage a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.  
    6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills.
    7. Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
    8. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
