  • Responsibilities

    Remote PT Review Publisher needs 2 years of copyediting, proofreading, and/or other content quality assurance experience.

    Remote PT Review Publisher requires:

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Very good organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to appropriately prioritize.

    • Knowledge of editorial and English-language conventions.

    • Understanding of fundamentals of print and/or digital production and publishing processes.

    • flexible and can be modified to accommodate the candidate.

    • need to understand that Hours will vary depending on issues on our side, like project requirements and deadlines.

    • 20 hours/weekly, 4 days weekly

    Preferred:

    • K-12 industry knowledge and experience.

    • Ability to drive on-time, on-budget, high-quality projects.

    • Knowledge of standard publishing technology tools.

    • 2 or more years of print and/or digital production or publishing experience.

    • 2 or more years of project management experience.

    Remote PT Review Publisher duties:

    Understands and follows best practices for copyediting, proofreading, fact checking, problem solving, and/or other content quality assurance reviews related to print and/or digital final text and final content presentation.

    Efficiently and effectively delivers assigned projects on time while meeting expected content quality assurance standards.

    Adheres to project schedules and established processes and effectively monitors and communicates status, takes appropriate actions to troubleshoot issues based on sound decision-making, and appropriately escalates risks while offering next steps toward mitigation.

    Understands products, processes, workflows, and procedures, and works in accordance with acceptable operating procedures.

    May assist in creating, updating, and communicating content quality assurance plans and procedures when relevant.

    Works collaboratively with other functional groups to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

    Builds productive relationships with peers, colleagues, management, other groups, and external customers through effective use of written and oral communication.

    Responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in the project management process..
