Cyber Security Engineer lll needs 2-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, 5-8 YEARS PREFERRED

Cyber Security Engineer lll requires:

• Ø EXPERIENCE WITH DEVOPS PIPLELINE - JIRA, JENKINS
• Ø WEB APPLICATION FIREWALL
• Ø CYBER, VULNERABILITY SCANNING AND MANAGEMENT EXP
• Ø AWS EXPERIENCE

Cyber Security Engineer lll duties:

• Perform static/dynamic/interactive code testing, manual code inspection, threat modeling, design reviews of web applications to identify vulnerabilities and security defects.

• Works with application development teams on best practices when it comes to security in application development

• Helps maintain optimized schedule and processes of application scanning.

• Supports the implementation and enforcement of secure design principles according to policies, standards, and patterns of Information Security.

• Able to help build/maintain and integrate application security controls into the SDLC/CI/CD frameworks (shift controls left).

• Helps work with security product vendors and service providers to evaluate security offerings, including product evaluations, proof of concept and pilot installations.

• Validates outputs from automated vulnerability assessments to reduce false positives and update those tools to prevent reoccurrence.

• Helps provide support (Ad-hoc scanning) for incident response and remediation teams.

• Data verification of all scan operations.

• Operational reporting of scan operations.

• Identify automation opportunities.

• Maintain operational documentation for processes.

• Participate in vulnerability management groups providing in depth knowledge of emerging application security trends/threats.

• Contributes to the design, development and implementation of countermeasures, system integration, and tools specific to Cyber and Information Operations.

• Coaches and reviews the work of non-direct reports while managing select projects and processes.
