JR Helpdesk Rep needs 2-3 years' office environment hardware/software support.
JR Helpdesk Rep requires:
2 years computer operations with demonstrated familiarity with communications(voice, data, telecommunications) or Windows NT administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, hard drives, etc.
• In depth knowledge of telecommunications equipment and repair.
• A+ Certification.
Call Centers or Support Support Environments.
• Worked as a Computer Support Technician or Computer Operator or Network Coordinator/Administrator.
• Associates Degree or proficiency degree in Computer Science.
JR Helpdesk duties:
• Monitors and troubleshoots all computer, telecommunications, copiers and printer problems and issues.
• Sets up individual user computers/workstations and peripheral devices on network.
• Identifies and resolves problems, makes repairs and/or coordinates service.
• Maintains records of equipment inventory, problems and failures.
• Makes recommendations regarding replacement of equipment.
