Biotech Engineer needs experience in Plant/Facilities or Engineering for the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology sector
Biotech Engineer requires:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural and preferred)
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated, self-directed personality with the ability to work both independently and with teams
Strong technical writing skills
Excellent organizational skills
Fast learner on new software systems
Working knowledge of MS Office suite
Maximo a plus
Biotech Engineer duties:
Assist or lead efforts related to content contained in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) and Document Management System
Support the Engineering and Maintenance groups in the acquisition, decommission, and relocation of equipment in Manufacturing, Utility or Lab areas.
Process all such requests including all associated activities.
Revise Maintenance related Standard Operating Procedures and forms to support the site's maintenance programs.
Work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to Create, revise, and ensure approval of job plans to improve sites maintenance programs and to support equipment additions and changes as it may relate to engineering projects, maintenance requests, or continuous improvement.
Enter new or revise existing spare parts data Work in the Document Management System to route documents related to acquisitions, decommissions, etc for review and approval.
Provide regular status reports/metrics on status of work.
Ensure work is being completed in a timely manner while escalating any delays.
