Description
Position Purpose: The CME Global Command Center (GCC) is the Market Operations desk for electronic trading. The GCC handles inquiries, issues and support requests from CME Globex and CME ClearPort customers, including assistance with electronic trading, order routing, market data interfaces, network connectivity, block trade facilitation, order cancellation, product launch, market scheduling, and error trades.
The GCC intern will assist in creating various business reports and presentations, maintain operational checklists, update customer facing documentation, QA various internal applications, participate in a simulated trading experience and learn the various aspects of our core products and technology.
Education:
Software Requirements & Skills:
Strong analytical skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookups and Pivot Tables preferred)
Strong interest and background in financial markets
Familiarity with Tableau, Bloomberg, and CQG a plus
This role will be in New York (5 days in office), full time schedule for summer term.
