JOB DESCRIPTION:
Silicon Valley Bank’s Global Fund Banking team provides commercial banking services to venture capital and private equity funds globally. This position is a member of the high performing GFB Collateral team which is responsible for the collection and capture of information on institutions and individuals that represent the financial collateral for the loans we provide. The Collateral Analyst plays a critical role by demonstrating expertise using our information system called iLevel. This role is responsible for the accuracy and timely input of investor information. Collateral Analysts collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management team to ensure each loan is correctly assessed for risk. This position has opportunities to grow within the job family.
Essential Functions
Pull and process requests from queue submitted to Collateral Team while meeting required timeline
Set up Excel templates for requests and ensure all data is input accurately.
Ensure accuracy on documentation and match with other data sources
Work with portfolio management team to resolve any missing or incorrect information entered on or attached to the request forms.
Ensure zero duplicate LP records are added to iLevel.
Research top 10 Limited Partners to ensure proper attributes are captured in iLevel for requests.
Use multiple methods to upload/update information in iLevel. Know which method to use for each request type.
Generate and send reports to portfolio management teams after uploads are complete. Ensure reports are correct before sending.
Process post-upload changes reported in the email inbox with high priority.
Actively submit process improvement recommendations
Skills/Competencies
Proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
Data reconcilement - ability to compare two sources of data and identify the differences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, well organized
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships with internal teams
Experience working with a queue of tasks preferred

BASE PAY:
$42,254.00 - $63,382.00
Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
