Citizens Commercial Banking hosts approximately 25 interns, each year, throughout the foot print of the Commercial Bank. The program provides interns with access to project based learning, classroom curriculum, networking and mentorship. The Commercial Banking Internship Program is a 10-week exposure to Commercial Banking. The internships are temporary and will last 10 weeks (May 29 - August 3, 2018). We accept students from all majors, who express an interest in learning more about Commercial Banking. At the end of the internship program, high performers will have an opportunity to interview for the Commercial Banker Development Program (CBDP).

The summer intern will be responsible for assisting the Global Markets Operations Interest Rate Derivative team with various reconciliations, report generation, and lifecycle event processing. Additional responsibilities will include data mining, creation of key business metrics and small to medium sized self-directed projects.

• Enrollment and demonstrated academic achievement in an undergraduate degree program with a graduation date of December 2018 or May 2019
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 preferred
• All majors considered
• Demonstrated leadership in a club, volunteer or sports
• Initiative taker who can handle multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Team player who can work closely with others to complete projects under tight deadlines
• Software skills: Solid MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
