Citi's Institutional Clients Group is looking for Fulltime Analysts to join the Global Spread Products Financing and Securitization- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Team in NAM. GSP Financing & Securitization integrates our premier global syndicate and distribution capabilities into one consolidated platform to deliver our clients financing and capital markets solutions across the capital structure.

YOUR TIME HERE WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS...

The Analyst would work within our US Commercial Mortgage Back Securities (CMBS) underwriting team that is dedicated to a specific originator that focuses on making loans in the US and would be based in New York City. The candidate would work with an Originator on sizing deals, helping with the underwriting process, preparing credit briefs/Asset Summaries and financial analysis packages that exam the financial feasibility and credit worthiness of fixed rate CMBS loans. Work would also include inspecting the assets, coordinating with our internal appraisers and engineers, closing staff, outside counsel, and working with our due diligence vendors. Other responsibilities include analyzing property financial statements, resolving transactional issues that escalate in third party reports, review borrower financial statements, comprehend and summarize legal documents, and present transactions to senior managers, rating agencies and b-buyers for approval

We're committed to teaching you the ropes. The CRE Conduit Analyst Program trains and grows key players in today's changing economic environment, and will equip you with the knowledge and training you need to help companies and governments raise capital in new and innovative ways. The 10 week Summer Analyst program starts in June and will kick off with a week of training, followed by nine weeks on a specific desk. In the Summer Analyst role, you will have the opportunity to network with peers across Citi through various activities including a team building activity in association with a local charity. Top performing Summer Analysts will be hired to join the following year's GSP Analyst Program.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF...

• You will earn a Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, accounting, or economics by June 2023

• You currently maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above

WHO WE THINK WILL BE A GREAT FIT...

• Summer internships within the field of real estate would be a plus.

• Proficiency with Excel and preferably some exposure to Argus.

• Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to multitask.

• Strong Communication, Planning and Organization skills

• Unquestioned Commitment to ethical Decision-making

• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
