The Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) is a key strategic business for the HSBC Group under Commercial Banking (CMB) and its history is mixed with almost 150 years of Group history. Today, we are the largest international trade bank, with an unrivalled global presence and access to over 90% of the world's global capital flows. GTRF provides trade finance and risk mitigation solutions to customers all over the world, from SMEs through to large corporates and multinationals. We cover various industries including commodities, global sourcing, technology and infrastructure. We are looking for a GTRF Transaction Risk Manager to join our team.

    Here’s what you can expect:

As our GTRF Risk Manager, you will assist in the oversight of the GTRF portfolio, assessing appropriate use of products and structures, adherence to credit / global policies & procedures and seeking to achieve positive outcomes in distressed lending situations. You will also utilize your ability to apply knowledge and experience in providing practical, workable proposals / recommendations to credit and operational situations, optimizing the use of GTRF products to provide a customer centric solution which appropriately manages the bank’s credit risk on New Monies and Renewal applications. This will likely involve managing and supporting proposals that control operational risk and assess reasons for operational failures that have given rise to potential operational losses, making appropriate recommendations for change in policy and procedure.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $106,800 and $160,200.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

At HSBC, our overall goal is to provide a competitive Total Reward Package, with an appropriate mix of fixed pay, and variable pay, as part of an employee’s overall total compensation and benefits. Variable pay generally takes the form of discretionary, annual awards (sometimes referred to as a “bonus”). Additionally, HSBC offers a wide range of competitive and flexible benefits designed to help you improve your health and well-being, finances, and lifestyle.
