ORGANIZATION AND CUSTOMER SCOPE:
Global Transaction Banking Department Americas Office provides various transaction banking solutions such as payment/collection services, liquidity management, trade financing (conventional L/C, Supply Chain Management, Stand-by L/C), FX and treasury related products and solutions. Not only promoting products or providing advices to corporate clients, but products development and planning to enhance services and products are also the unit's focus. Global Transaction Banking Department Americas office, liaised with its H.O. in Tokyo and also various product departments, is hub function for all cash and treasury management products and services in US market, Canada, Mexico and Brazil and also is providing supports to Japanese and US corporate clients.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transaction Banking Analyst will work closely with Team Leader and report to Team Head.
Primary responsibilities include:
Documentation
Electric Banking(EB) set up
Report Service Set up
Participation of product enhancement
Other administrative duties
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Documentation:
Create Transaction Banking related service agreements and registration forms
Create a log for received agreements and circulate agreements for signatures
Process for delivery of signed agreement to customers
Process to send the signed agreement to Back Office for our record
EB services set up:
Process signed agreements to set up EB for customers
Communicate with Head Office and Back office for EB customer registration
Communicate with Sales officer, Implementation Team and Customer Technical Support Team to onboard the services
Report Service:
Participation in Product Development and Upgrading of TB Related Services:
Provide support for creating/modifying workflows and procedures of the services
Maintain and update lists for possible future upgrade/enhancements
Participate in User testing
Administrative Duties:
Update TB product related customer data and update customer lists
Support Sales Team by providing customer registration information
Provide statistics such as number of contracts related to on-line services
Conduct CMS fee related administrative duties
Update internal manuals and workflows
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Business level proficiency in English & Japanese required
Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Business, or similar field of study
Ability to quickly learn and handle technical systems
Hands-on and positive can-do work attitude towards and internal process complexity
3 to 5 years relevant work experience within financial or related industry
Prior knowledge of transaction banking and financial products
Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint to support online banking activities for corporate activities
Good organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work with staff of all levels in multi-cultural environment
