We’re hiring a loan transaction coordinator/loan opener who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the mortgage loan process. You’ll get applicants mortgage-ready by sending checklists, following up, preparing paperwork, and responding to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Bilingual strongly suggested-Spanish speaking Responsibilities: • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service • Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items • Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred • Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients • Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • At least 5+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant Compensation: $20 hourly
