  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY Performs various processing duties in an efficient and timely manner; serves as point of contact for Loan Officer, MCLM, borrower and builder by performing the following duties.

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Completes File Set Up tasks within 24 hours of initial closing.

    • Opens and manages the construction deposit account.

    • Sets up project specific loan tracking sheet.

    • Prepares welcome letter packages for borrower and builder within 24 hours of initial closing.

    • Verbally verifies builder wiring instructions.

    • Sets up the project with third party inspection vendor.

    • Manages pipeline of all Construction projects, ensuring all are updated timely with loan specific information.

    • Manages the draw process which includes intake of draw requests, order and review of draw inspections, request borrower draw approval, update tracking sheet, order and review title updates, communicate with borrower and builder, order and review final legal documents, upload images to LOS and makes data updates in LOS.

    • Assists with final disbursement process including document gathering and disbursement, communicate with borrower and builder, communicate with servicing, upload images to LOS and make data updates in LOS.

    • Performs various clerical duties including typing, filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying.

    • Cross trains on duties of Mortgage Construction Lending Manager in order to act as effective backup in the absence of the MCLM.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum one year mortgage/lending experience or related legal/clerical experience; previous experience with mortgage software helpful.

    COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.  Ability to use basic office machines.  Ability to learn bank-specific software such as Encompass, IBS, ADP, etc.
