    We are seeking a FULL-TIME CAREGIVER TO WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 9A-5P with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in their home and community setting, PREFERABLY FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH. The Personal Care Aide or Certified Nursing Aide provides assistance to individuals with personal care, homemaking, errands, medical appointments, community access, community involvement, seeking employment, volunteer opportunities, independent living skills and continuing education.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Community Support Specialist uses a person centered approach to help improve the individual’s overall quality of life. The Community Support Specialist facilitates creative supports that align with the individual’s ISP and Plan of Care. The Community Support Specialist is an advocate for the individual and helps them to reach their fullest potential.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • CPR and First Aid certification (within 30 days)

    • Negative TB screening (provided)

    • Telephone with voice mail

    • Transportation

    • The caregiver must have one of the following:

    • Certification as a CNA on the Georgia State Registry, or

    • Credentials indicating successful completion of a health care or personal care credentialing program, or

    • Successful completion of a 40-hour training program provided by a private home care provider, or

    • Successful completion of a competency exam (we can administer this exam.)

    • Spanish speaking preferred.

    AS THE QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITOR I WITHIN OUR AUDIT & SECURITY DEPARTMENT, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A VARIETY OF TASKS WHICH INCLUDE:

    • Audit Loans for completeness of documentation, accuracy, ensuring that all stipulations have been met, and appropriate loan documents are complete.
    • Audit Consumer Loans for underwriting quality, including credit and income analysis, income verification, and Members’ ability to pay, as well as vehicle values, interest rates, and pledge records for completeness and accuracy.
    • Verify that loans meet all RCU policies and guidelines and report on significant loan quality trends.
    • Identify transaction components that indicate a potential for fraud and perform sufficient investigative work to resolve issues that are identified.
    • Communicate with branch staff and managers regarding incomplete loan files, and loan errors.
    • Enter identified errors on the RCU Error Log and monitor high priority errors for remediation. Follow-up and communicate with impacted branch personnel until errors are resolved.
    • Based upon audits, reviews, and investigative work, make recommendations to lending policy and processes that will benefit the soundness of RCU’s loan portfolio and profitability.
    • Review loan change reports for accuracy, including due date, interest rate, credit limit, collateral code, ECOA code, new loans, loan advances, loan paid ahead and payment changes.
    • Review high-risk loan categories such as first payment defaults analyzing for fraud trends or underwriting weaknesses that may result in future losses to the credit union.
