Position: Operations Analyst Process & Procedures Reporting to: Operations Manager Location: Atlanta GA The role Hiscox USA is searching for a dynamic and passionate Operations Analyst Process & Procedures to join the Service Delivery team for Hiscox USAs Direct & Partnership Distribution channel. The Analyst will manage and maintain our inventory of procedures, guidelines, process-maps and training materials that support the DPD operations. The Analyst will report directly to the Head of Service Delivery for DPD, and will work with Stakeholders across Underwriting, Partnerships, Operations, IT, Finance, HR and Marketing. What youll be doing as an Operations Analyst: Key Responsibilities: * Develop an extensive knowledge of the existing policy administrative systems (MAGIC/ezCLM) and supporting systems, and become an SME for key processes leveraging those systems. * Identify areas for improvement and enhance all working practices, procedures, policies, job aids, communications, operational reports, and training materials to ensure they are current, effective and accurately understood by the DPD Actors who operate according to them; * Adapt and maintain the above for changes the organization makes to products, processes, procedures, and coordinate the communication/training of those changes as appropriate. * Ensure SGS training personnel are competent and equipped with appropriate materials and tools to successfully onboard joiners, and to keep the existing workforce current on our procedures and guidelines; * Work with SGS management to identify Customer Service and Quality best-practices so that we can leverage them in our coaching of performers to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. * Develop a strong working relationship with the Mustang Change Management team (working to transform our Policy Administration, Billing and Claims Systems), and participate in their initiatives as appropriate. Collaborate with them, allowing them to take the lead, so that our legacy processes, working practices, procedures, communications and training-materials are replaced where necessary with the Mustang substitutions, and we adopt any best-practices that emerge as part of Mustang Change Management. * Participate in User Acceptance Testing for system changes to our legacy systems (MAGIC, ezCLM, Chase/Paymentech) and for future systems (OneShield/Mustang). Person Specification: * 2+ years of business analyst or process architect experience; * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to ensure all stakeholders fully understand the matters being documented, and the changes we will ask them to adopt; * Bachelors degree, with experience and knowledge of insurance products/processes preferred. * Critical thinker with data-analyses skills. Should be proficient in Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPointand with tools relevant to training and communication of processes, procedures (Sharepoint, Microsoft Visio, Computer-based training tools); * Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and results driven. Able to multi-task and be flexible to handle multiple deadlines. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. * Experience working as part of a team delivering complex multi-faceted projects. * Willing to travel (anticipate 10% or less).
