Human Resources Compensation & Benefits Internship - Summer 2022
DESCRIPTION
This position will provide the selected candidate with exposure to the Compensation and Benefits domains within Human Resources. The role will support the Compensation function and gain exposure to: benchmarking jobs, tracking of key data points associated with pay equity, and reporting/analytics. The role will also support the Benefits function through contributing to benefits projects and administration.
Principal Accountabilities:
Perform HR System entry and validation in Workday
Execute standardized reporting in Workday
Solicit beneficiary designations from employees pertaining to particular Benefits plans
Assist with Benefits/Wellness initiatives such as Executive Health programs and on-site Health Care Center events
Conduct Benefits files scanning with the objective of converting paper files to digital/electronic copy
Participate in Compensation & Benefits Projects as needed, such as conducting compensation analysis and lost retirement plan participant work
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in school pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management , or related field
Collaborative and team oriented. Exhibit a high-level of professionalism.
Computer proficiency in MS Office, good Excel knowledge a plus
