The Emerging Talent Engagement Associate will be part of the US HR Talent Acquisition Emerging Talent team, supporting Global Banking (GB) and Markets & Security Services (MSS). This role is primarily responsible for supporting Emerging Talent recruitment, management and maintenance of the GB & MSS programs including Rising Junior, Internship, and Graduate Analyst.
Here’s what you can expect:
As our Emerging Talent Engagement Associate, you will assist in program management and execution of recruitment and selection efforts for the Emerging Talent Programs - including supporting the program manager in activities such as: selection of recruitment partners, university out-reach, branding efforts, and supporting members of the GB & MSS business Graduate committees. This will involve attending local recruitment events and assisting with on-the-ground representation for local recruitment activities as well as managing business logistics of program management including but not limited to: securing business representatives, program event venues, placement opportunities, performance management, trainings, promotional inventory, budget oversite, and keep warm activities.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $112,100 and $140,000.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
Employment eligibility to work with HSBC in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
Proven and progressive business and/or human resources experience or equivalent
Intermediate/Advance user of Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel pivots/charts)
A “can-do” attitude; highly motivated and able to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Experience with administration support which may include collecting and collating Intern feedback and evaluation forms; creating presentations (data storytelling); and coordination and support of recruitment activities (calendar, travel, school contact information, budget)
Strong ability to coordinate and support on-site events
Strong ability to partner with Campus Recruiting and Inclusion & Diversity leadership to further develop and execute on sourcing opportunities; share best practices and business cases for new and innovative approaches/programs; execute and participate in those programs
Experience in researching best practices, pay, programs etc. to ensure HSBC’s program is in line with the US Market
Manage Emerging Talent budget tracker
Maintain Emerging Talent Data Spreadsheets and provide status updates to client partners
Support with diversity lead initiatives, engaging with ERGs and the US Diversity & Inclusion team
Execution focused based on strategic directives from GB & MSS Program Managers
Establish strong relationships with previously identified target schools, maintaining communication with career development offices
Experience supporting Brand Campaign recruiting activities
