DESCRIPTION

CME Group is currently looking for a summer intern to support the US HR Operations Team.

The position is responsible for supporting the HR Division as part of the HR Operations Team. This candidate will assist with the day-to-day activities in support of the full employee life-cycle, as well as providing administrative support for the HR Operations functions.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist the team with m anaging the candidate experience including interview scheduling and travel, onboarding processes and background screening
• Conduct data analysis & audits in Workday and other HR systems
• Complete ad-hoc Employment Verifications for current and prior workers
• Participate in HR Ops Projects as needed
• Help maintain associated process documentation & support the HR Ops Team as directed
• Works closely with the other HR departments and provide support when needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in school pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management or related field
• Must be team oriented with a high level of professionalism
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Computer proficiency in MS Office

Location and Hours:

• Chicago or New York based internship, with flexible schedule which can accommodate the student's schedule. We do require a minimum of 16 hours per week, with a maximum of 40 hours per week available. Days/times flexible. Extension to year-round internship is an option for local candidates.
