Assignment Capsule As a part of Humana, Healthcare Trend and Innovation collaborates with internal partners and external partners to conceive develop and launch new initiatives that drive customer health, have the potential to disrupt and transform the healthcare business, and bend the cost. The team has a varied operating model with a future focus, testing and co-creating new value in partnership with startups companies. The team is closely coordinated through Menlo Park and Louisville KY. The key responsibilities for this position on the Healthcare Trend and Innovation team include the following: * Develop landscapes analysis to curate and identify highly differentiated startups for test-and-learn opportunities * Support the creation of thought leadership to inform business and HCTI strategy based on learnings and insights collected from the outside ecosystem and meetings with entrepreneurs * Develop relationships with leading companies, industry leaders, and startups to find disruptive solutions/technologies for Humanas largest problem * Support open innovation programs with external partners and thought leaders to identify innovative solutions to key strategic problems including **Role Essentials ** * Bachelor's degree 1-3 years of work experience * Expertise doing research, synthesizing findings and learnings from research as well as drawing out implications to support the teams priorities and strategy * Entrepreneurial spirit and drive, self-starter * Highly organized with ability to execute multiple complex projects in a timely manner * Ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as external partners * Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Role Desirables ** * Demonstrated organizational and project management skills * Product design or development experience * Masters degree or other graduate degree Reporting Relationships * You will report to a Market Director.
