At Wells Fargo, we want to satisfy our customers’ financial needs and help them succeed financially. We’re looking for talented people who will put our customers at the center of everything we do. Join our diverse and inclusive team where you’ll feel valued and inspired to contribute your unique skills and experience.

Help us build a better Wells Fargo. It all begins with outstanding talent. It all begins with you.

Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

The Investment Contact Center (ICC) provides service and support for clients of four of WIM’s lines of business: Abbot Downing, Retirement, Wealth Management, and Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA). Our client-facing teams manage millions of customer contacts each year for retail and institutional clients, plan sponsors, and participants via phone, email, and correspondence. We also have team members who work on support teams in business administration, operations, and business strategy and technology. We act as a single, unified, and coordinated channel, with one direction, one voice, and one view, in order to provide exceptional client experiences.

Working within a call center environment, the Investment Resource Center (IRC) is a business development unit working under the High Net Worth (HNW), Affluent, and Banking Services group, responsible for introducing all Wealth, Brokerage, and Retirement products and services to Wells Fargo customers.  The IRC Consultant is the tip of the spear in terms of customer entry into the myriad of Wells Fargo Advisor’s (WFA) product line up that includes self-directed, robo-advisor, and full service financial advisor accounts.

Whether the client calls in directly or comes in as a referral from one of our national banking partners, the role of the IRC Consultant is to triage the client into the appropriate product.  Starting by understanding the client’s specific situation and needs, the IRC Consultant provides the client with education, information, and consultation, so they can determine the most suitable WFA solution that meets their unique needs and objectives.

Using their expertise in areas of markets, investments, and retirement needs, the IRC Consultant helps the customer determine the suitable product and the registration type.  Then they will open the account or work to assist the client in opening the account online.  Once the account is open, the IRC Consultant will continue to support the client through the account approval, satisfying documentation requirements, and the funding process.

Duties include strong communication and relationship building skills, client profiling and needs assessment, and attainment of business development objectives.  Effective partnering with Digital and Financial Advisors is critical to their overall success.  Also responsible for effectively managing pipeline and lead reports to follow-up and deliver exceptional service and meet performance objectives.

The role requires candidates to hold their Series 7 license at time of application and available for immediate registration upon hiring.  In addition, the Series 66 and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation offered through The College for Financial Planning are required, but not at time of application.  Selected candidates not possessing these additional requirements will be given the opportunity to further develop their investment and retirement acumen through studying and sitting for the required exams. Ongoing employment is contingent on obtaining and maintaining the appropriate licenses and registrations.

Salt Lake City, UT Monday through Friday 7AM - 7:30PM and Saturday 8:30AM-5PM MST
