The WEX Internship Program offers a robust experience for ambitious and curious students, who are interested in growing professionally and developing their skills to become the next generation of technology leaders.

Our internship program is designed to provide interns hands-on, practical experiences while working alongside some of our industry’s smartest teams; as well as providing immediate value to their teams and our leaders.

What you will be doing in this role: (This is a remote position)

You will: 

• Participate in internal projects that will deliver strategic opportunities at WEX to streamline audits and strengthen IT controls
• Develop the ability to analyze IT processes across a spectrum of disciplines
• Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with your respective IT Teams 
• Understand how your job is key to support the wider WEX’s organization
• Assist with IT Control Assessments and Process Deep Dives
• Analyze key IT control processes and documenting Narratives, Procedures, and Controls
• Collaborate with lines of business and IT teams to gather information related to IT processes and related controls
• Assist in the documentation of key IT Risk Documents (Dashboards, Reports, Control Matrices, etc.)

Who we are looking for:

• At a minimum, you should be a rising junior, senior, OR masters-level student, in a degree/certificate-seeking accredited program
• Strong knowledge of IT Networks and Cloud Computing Environments
• Strong project management skills, including planning and execution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of IT Audit/IT Controls is a plus
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
