Job Summary Under direct supervision performs electrical tasks and operates platform lifts Properly mounts and installs assigned work, conduit, wires, and strapping as directed Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment at all times Qualifications Current registration in JATC Apprentice Program either Area I (Portland, OR) or Area II (Salem, OR) Good attendance and passing grades in apprenticeship training school Ability to operate platform lifts Ability to accurately identify colors of wire & conductors Ability to use 2 handed tools/equipment (i.e. cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.) Ability to quickly learn hand conduit bending to ensure timely installations Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
