    Job Description

    This is an in-office position based out of Ent/Wings Credit Union Headquarters in Colorado Springs. This is not a fully remote eligible position.

    The Indirect Lending Processor II is responsible for ensuring that new indirect auto loans are placed on the loan system correctly and promptly. The Indirect Lending Processor II serves as an expert contact between the department, dealerships, and the Call Center and provides mentoring and troubleshooting for escalated issues to entry level indirect processors. The Indirect Lending Processor II plays an integral role in maintaining good communication between the Credit Union and the dealerships. The Indirect Lending Processor II is also the primary defense against fraud by mitigating Fraud Shield, Red flag mitigation, verifying account information, ID's, and completeness and legality of the dealer packets.

    Essential Functions

    • Review all support documentation for accuracy and completeness, including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, application for titles, proof of name change documentation, Bill of Sale, Insurance validation, Credit bureaus, verify applications, warranties, gap, dealer products, MSRP / Book sheet and input data as needed.
    • Ensuring that we are meeting all legal and compliance requirements for each loan file.
    • Resolve funding issues with dealers or members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Review loan files to clear fraud shields, red flags, check id's and paperwork for fraud and compliance.
    • Calculate monies owed to dealership by evaluating lending guidelines with program requirements and dealership numbers.
    • Ensure that underwriting conditions are met by reviewing documentation and clearing conditions if warranted.
    • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

    Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

    • High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent.
    • 3+ years' experience with general lending / loan experience or equivalent work experience. Required
    • 2+ years' Consumer Lending / Processing experience / Auto Dealer office experience. Required

    Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

    • Strong understanding on how to Process standard to elevated member account transactions (Transfers, address changes, minor maintenance).
    • Able to recognize and verify validity and completeness of lending documents and contracts.
    • Possesses the ability to communicate and solve member-lending and contract problems within the Department and dealerships.
    • Problem solve more challenging funding packet issues with little supervision.
    • Able to use the tools available and dealership documents to detect any fraudulent activity and mitigate to prevent losses to the credit union.
    • Complete funding delays to resolution with minimal assistance.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of all transactions.
    • Professional and courteous communication skills are of critical importance.
    • Basic working functionality in Symitar system.
    • Basic working functionality with Ent/Wings' loan booking system.
    • Working Knowledge of loan documentation requirements.
    • Proficient using 10 Key for data entry.

    Additional Information

    The pay range for this position is: $21.39 to $25.82 per hour (S12), plus incentives.

    Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
