    As one of the Global Markets' key initiatives, Citi Velocity Web and Mobile brings together our global footprint with best in class technology, giving our institutional clients unprecedented access to our capital markets research, commentary, data, analytics, proprietary models and services across asset classes. Citi Velocity was ranked #1 Web-Based Analytics Tool in the 2019 and 2020 Institutional Investor survey. Located on the Trading Floor in our global headquarters, we are looking to hire a junior salesperson that will be responsible for executing Citi Velocity sales strategy in North America. The candidate will work with both external clients, internal sales, trading and structuring desks to market and sell Citi's proprietary analytics, data, research, and market commentary. This position is most suitable for self-starters who'd like broad exposure to the Markets business and client base. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Market platform functionality to institutional clients (hedge funds, asset managers, corporates).
    • Develop innovative ways to communicate to existing clients and strategize expansion of the platform's existing reach.
    • Forge a trusted relationship with other salespeople to leverage the platform for sourcing relevant commercial opportunities for the desk
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of client meetings and outreach. Track results and create reports with data analysis and other feedback. Report findings and results to management and sales.
    • Stay up to date with market movements to give input into timely market-driven marketing campaigns including video and market commentary.
    • Facilitate and support asset class content creation and contribution to video/podcast and commentary.
    • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed of platform updates and new functionality. Champion the brand internally making sure the business understands the platform and its goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2-5 years of experience at a financial services firm/sell-side organization.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Must have or be able to obtain licenses required, Series 7 and 63.
    • Good understanding of institutional client needs. Ability to develop and manage relationships with highly sophisticated individuals.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong attention to detail.
    • Passion for and interest in technology and analytics.
    • Advanced problem solving skills.
    • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new business concepts quickly.
