  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly motivated intern to fill the role of a Technical BI Analyst role within the OppenheimerFunds Marketing and Digital Technology team in NY. The ideal candidate will have the skills and passion for best in breed and modern data exploration and visualization applications along with a desire to work with Marketing/Digital engagement data and present useful insights

    Our intent is to partner this intern with a delivery manager and be supported by other technical staff, to ensure the candidate is successful, challenged and adds value throughout the internship.

  • Qualifications
    • Have experience or interest to learn new tools that drives business analytics reporting (Tableau, R, Python)

    • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an advanced degree or graduate degree in Math, Computer Science, or related area

    • Programming experience is a plus Working experience with large data sets

    • Proficiency in SQL

    • Good mathematical background to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis

    • Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills with

    • Data mining, statistics, and analytical modeling knowledge is a strong plus

    • Highly organized, self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team

    • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong work ethic, strong aptitude for learning and strategic thinker

    • Knowledge of the working with digital (social, web and email engagement) data is a strong plus
