    Duff & Phelps’ internal finance group provides accounting and administrative support in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable and engagement management. They are responsible for the timely and accurate completion of electronic code maintenance requests, the application and identification of cash payments to invoices and the processing and coding of vendor invoices.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Our Treasury Intern will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Financial Systems department, including but not limited to:

    • Assist in opening and closing bank accounts by gathering all necessary information from legal/tax and populating required forms
    • Track and settle inter-company receivables and payables Ensure invoices are appropriately generated for inter-company transactions
    • Assist in managing intercompany loans, including the loan documentation and calculating and validate inter-company interest and loan balances on the general ledger.
    • Assist in coordinating the transfer pricing calculations (i.e. headquarters allocation charges, etc.) and ensure transfer pricing is invoiced, paid and, recorded in the general ledger appropriately
    • Ensure all cash transfers have appropriate documentation/reasons
    • Work with tax to ensure tax-efficient cash movement
    • Track and maintain list of bank accounts and the related signatory authority
  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
    • Expected graduation date between December 2019 and September 2021
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • A self-starter, detail oriented, possess strong quantitative and analytical skills and strong organizational skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
